JOIN THE MANHATTAN SOCIETY AND REGGAE ON THE RIVER TO RAISE FUNDS FOR MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS ON JULY 27

WHAT: The Ultimate Summertime Party, Reggae on the River, a casual, hip evening with a Jamaican flair, features two live bands, Head over Heals and Earthman Experience, open bar, great food from area restaurants and merchants, and dancing on the flight deck of the USS Intrepid. This year's major food sponsor is Ranch 1 who will be serving "The Best Grilled Chicken Sandwich on Earth" to all ticket purchasers. Additional sponsors at this year's event include WABC-TV, KTU-FM, Samuel Adams, Tanqueray, Johnnie Walker, Jose Cuervo, Reposado 1800, Stoli Vodka, Malibu Rum, Jack Daniels, Glaceau Water and American Airlines (the official airline of the New York City Chapter). WHERE: The USS Intrepid Sea/Air/Space Museum docked on the Hudson River at 46th Street WHO: More than 2,500 of New York's young professionals are expected to attend thee party of the summer, hosted by The Manhattan Society, a volunteer fund-raising group of the New York City Chapter of the National MS Society. Lara Spencer of WABC-TV is honorary chair for the evening and will attend to kickoff the party for the second year in a row.

WHY: To help raise funds for programs and services for people with MS and their families and to support research efforts into the cause, treatments and cure for this chronic neurological disease.
