Can I open more than one store?
Ranch 1 is looking for qualified individuals or groups to help expand this chain nationwide. Franchise opportunities exist for both single restaurants and multi-unit development.
Do I need food experience?
While experience is helpful, it is not required in order to become a Ranch 1 franchisee. The Ranch 1 training program is extensive and as a new franchisee, you will learn the skills necessary for day-to-day operations. Ranch 1 is looking for individuals who have strong entrepreneurial skills, and a strong desire to succeed in operating a Ranch 1 restaurant.
Will Ranch 1 find me a location?
No. Ranch 1 will not seek out locations nor negotiate a lease on your behalf. However, Ranch 1 will pass on real estate leads to you that you are interested in or to the Area Developer for the area in which you are looking to open a restaurant.
How much is the franchisee fee & what is the inital investment?
The franchise fee is $30,000 and the ongoing royalty is 6% of the gross sales. The national advertising fund contribution is 1%, and local area advertising is up to 3%.
The initial investment will vary based on construction cost and size of facility.
What type of support can I expect?
As a franchisee, you own your business, but you are part of a family of entrepreneurs. When you join the Ranch 1 team, you receive the support provided by an organization that clearly knows what it's doing. Ranch 1 has developed an effective, systematic process to get our franchisees up and running quickly. That support includes:

  • Architectural, construction and engineering assistance.
  • A comprehensive training program.
  • A national purchasing program and equipment selection.
  • Ongoing advertising and marketing support.
  • Continued operational support and assistance.
  • Ongoing product research and development.
  • Quality control reviews and evaluations.
Must I use your Contractor, and purchase equipment through Ranch 1?
No. We will provide you with proper specifications and work with a supplier and contractor of your choosing. We have approved contractors and suppliers that have a proven track record with our franchisees that we can recommend to you.
How long does it take to open a restaurant?
It depends on a number of factors; the biggest variable is the availability of quality sites. Once a Franchise Agreement is signed, a store can be opened in 6 to 12 months.
